REUSING EALING

Reuse Ealing is a response to the extensive number of new development projects which have been approved by Ealing Council against the wishes of the local community. The Councils plans include the demolition of the current council building & library. My project proposes the reuse and upgrading of the existing building using materials mined from other building slated for demolition nearby as well as providing a generous library, construction skills centre, council offices and indoor public space. The proposal is a direct response to community interests and needs as well as addressing the enormous material waste involved in building demolition.
