The Well-Being College is part of wider masterplan proposal re-imagining the Wormwood Scrubs Prison as a research-based community for alternative medicine and elderly care. Working together in a group of four our design focused on opening the site to the scrub park and beyond its neighbourhood. Using chance operations and strategically adding and subtracting from the existing prison building to create additional facilities. The Well-Being College focuses on educating the community about alternative medicine research and how they can be implemented in everyday life to help people live a happier and healthier lifestyle. Using a grided method for both planning and elevational strategies along with objects and textures created by chance operations, the Well-Being College offers a new vibrant learning facility for the community.
