CANAL & RIVER TRUST HUB

This project is a multi-purpose centre for the Canal & River Trust, composed of public and private spaces. The project is designed to compromise different areas needed by the clients whilst embracing the heritage of the site in Mill Meads. The shows piece of the building is the Soap Shop which is inspired by Snøhetta’s Aesop shops. The interior consists of elements casted from the walls to create space for shelving, seating, workshops, and a sink area. Before entering this main space, the visitors can also visit the information box or use the multifunctional casted external piece used for seating or social interactions, such as soap selling during summer.
