My project explores a space that recycles and reuses produce to support Peckham’s fresh produce markets whilst following an environmentally friendly system. This greenhouse-like building can be explored through a cyclical manner; where people can travel from the buying of fresh produce to consuming then composting. After, produce can be planted then grown, which can be fed back to the markets. Not only is the activity within the building environmentally conscious but so is the building’s integrity which is achieved by using bioplastics and vertical gardens to construct the facade.
