PECKHAM'S POLLUTION DETECTION DEVICE AND BUILDING PROJECT

The mapping identifies the intensity of pollution within the zone. The device project followed from the mapping after viewing the heavily polluted regions within Peckham. Most of the residents in Peckham were unaware about the vast amount of pollution on a day-to-day basis. Device was designed to reveal the intensity of the 4 types of pollutions such as NO2, O3, Pm2.5 and Pm10, within a range through lights that display red (highly polluted), amber and blue (little to no pollution). This would give the locals an awareness of the level of pollution in the area.
