This Building combines the natural and haptic materials earth and wood to create an environment for children to play and learn. The learning takes place around nature by having a large terraced Garden on the North side of the building, and multiple green playing areas within and around the building. The Southside of the building has a secondary use of workshops accessible to the public, the workshops include carpentry, sculpture and co. The outside of the building turns into a night food and drinks market, that attracts people from all around the area, as the existing shepherds bush market does not provide anything like it. The east side of the building facing the houses creates a new green pathway which acts as a safer and more independent way for children to arrive to the kindergarten.
