DESCRIPTION: The project is a home for an employment training and skills centre that combines the operational model of an existing charities in North London with facilities for growing food within the community. Food waste from the local area is collected and processed to form compost for the rooftop gardens. Food grown in the gardens is prepared in the kitchens for service in the café. All stages of the process are coupled with targeted training to help those seeking employment improve their skills and confidence.
