The aim of this thesis is to research the socio-cultural development and economic impact on urban waterfront, searches for traces of prospect in Varosha whether the future would allow a collective space that everyone can celebrate the unification at the waterfront. Criticizes seasonal economy reliance’s impact on local community’s access to the water edge, due to the waterfront became a main economic driver and source of its global influence & wealth. Project highlights relationship between people and waterfront, local-social dimensions refer to the different ways of experiencing and using the sea edge, identity, social status, access and activities and importance to the community. Project reinforcing the sense of place, returning the waterfront to the people, believes in a fundamental humanistic principle of ‘Free’ space for all and indiscriminate, developing an awareness of waterfront and its interaction with the city’s identity and populace.
