This proposal is designed in a church in Chelsea that is prone to flooding. The location and link to tidal changes inspired a design for an observatory and planetarium. Here, visitors can view the moon from this historic, religious building to spiritually connect to the universe. The gallery will remain a functioning church where worshipers can access it during the day for congregations and gatherings. At night, the buildings transforms to an observatory for the Royal Astronomical Society. Whether day or night, the building is a vessel to look to the heavens.
