Bio-plastic manufacturing space and artists' hub for Peckham. The project focused on providing upcoming local artists with their own space to create artwork using bio-plastic made in the building’s lattice structure. The 20m high structural ‘trees’ enable natural light to enter and the funnel collects rainwater to minimise water waste in the manufacturing process. Sunlight dazzles off the water droplets creating a calming atmosphere amongst the bustling recycling process. The outdoor garden enables locals to come together to help tackle local issues as well as helping the young artists build up a client and customer base for their work.
